Why is there one size? Will there be more? Arid is a very small brand started by two riders who wanted better bikes. We have to start with one size to ensure that the quality of our frames is high. We hope to bring more sizes to market in the coming seasons as you help us grow.

Why/what is a bike a pre-order? The Spade is a pre-order to give us more time to finish manufaturing the frames and make sure they are flawless. Your frame will ship 90-110 days after 4/24.

Can I buy a frame without a shock? No, we designed a shock tune with Rockshox to work with our unique kinematics, so the shock is not optional. 

When can I buy different-sized dropouts to change the chain stay length? We will make more sizes available in fall 2026.

Can I buy both 29 and 27.5 dropouts with my Spade frame? Yes. if you haven't already purchased a Spade with either dropout size and send use a message about purchasing the other one.

When can I buy the 150mm trail link and the 200mm DH link? We will make the Trail and DH links available in fall 2026.

Is the Spade frame dual crown compatible? Yes the Spade is rated to use a dual crown fork with up to 200mm of travel.

Do you ship internationally? We are open to it but please send us a message with all your details so we can make sure your Arid gets to you safely.

Can I pick which number Ace Edition frame I get? Yes, send us a message and tell us what number you want after you order.

What spring rate and color will my Vivid coil come with? By default, we will ship your frameset with a black 450LB spring, but send us a message with your order number if you want a different weight or red spring.
